Ingredients:

 

Chocolate Brownies RecipeMargarine – 500 gms.

Sugar powder – 800 gms.

Water – 400 ml.

Soda bicarb – 6 gms.

Cashew pieces – 400 gms.

Salt – Required.

Caramel – 6 gms.

Maida/ All-purpose flour – 800 gms.

Egg white – 400 gms.

Vanilla essence – few drops.

Baking powder – 10 gms.

Milk powder – 100 gms.

Coco powder – 100 gms.

Chocolate essence – 4 ml.

Method:

 

  • Add sugar powder and margarine to make cream.
  • Beat egg white and vanilla essence until you get foam
  • Mix egg white to the cream, stirring fast and do creaming.
  • Filter maida, baking powder, milk powder and salt
  • Add chocolate essence and caramel to water.
  • Now add little maida, coco powder to cream followed with little water.
  • Follow this sequence and all powder and water to the cream.
  • Add cashew nuts to the mixture.
  • Pour the above mixture into the tin and heat in an oven at a temperature of 175 degree fareinheat for 20 minutes.

Mitha Khaja

Mitha Khaja

 

Mitha khaja is one of the delicious special Diwali sweets recipes. Mitha Khaja recipe is described in north Indian style; it can be prepared with regular kitchen ingredients.

 

Ingredients:

 

mitha khajaPlain flour – 1 ½ cups

Jaggery – ½ cup

Ghee – 1 tsp.

Water – 1 cup

Cardamom powder – ¼ tsp.

Ghee – For deep fry


Method:

 

  • Add jiggery to the water and heat until it dissolves.
  • Filter the dust particles and let it cool.
  • Add 1 tsp. of ghee and cardamom powder to plain flour.
  • Knead the mixture with the help of jiggery liquid.

 

Tip: Make sure that the dough is stiff and elastic

 

  • To the above quantity you can make around 20 parts.
  • Press the ball with hand gently so that it bulges 4 inch width
  • Pierce with fork or slit with knife around the ball.
  • Keep them on a clean cloth for about one hour so that they can dry and absorb less oil
  • Heat ghee on a frying vessel and deep fry the balls until they turn golden brown.
  • Mitha Khaja become crispy and hard once they are cooled.
  • Store them in an air tight container.

Ingredients:

 

Mango CakeButter/ margarine – 300 gms.

Maida – 400 gms.

Liquid glucose – 20 gms.

Skimmed milk – 10 gms.

Egg white – 300 gms.

Mango pulp – 60 gms.

Mango essence – 4 ml.

Vanilla essence – few drops

Baking powder – 6 gms.

Salt – Required

Mango emulsion – 8 ml.

Water – 80 ml.

Sugar powder – 100 gms.

Method:

 

  • Make butter or margarine free from ball formation and add sugar powder by stirring constantly to make smooth cream.
  • On other hand, beat egg white and vanilla essence.
  • Add the above mixture to butter cream gently by stirring.
  • Filter maida, baking powder, salt and milk powder and make sure it’s free from dust and other particles.
  • Add this mixture to the above cream gently.
  • Adding remaining ingredients, add mango pulp at last.
  • Grease the tin and apply butter paper to it.
  • Pour the mango cake mixture and heat in oven at 375 degree fareignheat for 20 minutes.

Malai Ladoo

 

Malai Ladoo is a soft and delicious Indian sweet. Malai Laddu is made with paneer and condensed milk. Learn how to make Malai Ladoo recipe with our simple steps.

 

Ingredients:

Malai Ladoo Recipe

Condensed Milk – 300 gms.

Kewra essence – 3 drops

Yellow colour – A pinch

Paneer (cottage cheese) – 300 gms.

Sugar (powdered) – 200 gms.

Pista (finely grated) – 2 tsp.

Ghee – 1 tsp.


Method:

 

  • Mash paneer and heat ghee in a pan.
  • Add paneer and condensed milk and cook on low flame.
  • Stir continuously until you get thick mixture.
  • Add colour and essence. Remove from flame.
  • Mix well and once the mixture cools start doing round balls.
  • Once Malai Ladoo is done, stick chopped pista on top and store in an air tight container.

Banana Muffins

Ingredients:

 

Banana MuffinsRipe banana pulp – 300 gms.

Sugar powder – 400 gms.

Salt – 6 gms.

Egg white – 200 gms.

Vanilla essence – few drops

Banana essence – few drops

Baking powder – 8 gms.

Walnut pieces – 40 gms.

All-purpose flour – 400 gms.

Margarine – 200 gms.

Skimmed milk powder – 35 gms.

Water – 250 ml.

Soda bicarb – 2 gms.

Corn flour – 20 gms.

Method:

 

  • Make cream by mixing margarine and sugar powder.
  • Beat egg white and vanilla essence. Add this to cream little by little.
  • Filter all-purpose flour, baking powder, salt and skimmed milk powder.
  • Add this mixture to above cream and mix well.
  • Grease cake cups and pour this mixture into it.
  • Heat them in oven at a temperature of 375 degree Fahrenheit for 20 minutes.
  • Once baking is finished, let it cool.
  • Coat with coconut flavour cream.
  • Banana muffin is ready garnish with walnuts.

Dal Ka Seera

Dal Ka Seera

 

Dal ka seera is a north Indian Halwa Recipe made with Moong Dal. It is generally prepared during festival seasons or during functions. Moong Dal Halwa garnished with cashew and raisins having mouth-watering flavour will make you carve for more.



Ingredients:

 

 

Dal Ka SeeraMoong dal (green) – 500 gms.

Sugar – 500 gms.

Milk – 1 tsp.

Ghee – 500 gms.

Saffron – 1 pinch

Cashew – 2 tsp.

Cardamom powder – ½ tsp.

Raisin – 2 tsp.

Water – 250 ml.

 

Method:

 

  • Soak Moong dal for about 6 hours
  • Flush with water so that the green skin is all removed.
  • Put in a stone grinder and make a fine paste.

 

Tip: Try to use very little water during grinding process.

 

  • On other hand make sugar syrup by adding water and sugar in a separate pan.
  • Boil the syrup until you get sticky liquid. (If you pour the concentration with the help of a spoon, you find thin thread)

 

Tip: If you put 1 tsp. of milk during the boiling stage, you find scum rising once you attain your required concentration, remove it with a skillet.

 

  • Heat ghee in a thick bottom vessel and add grinded dal.

 

Note: You need to stir continuously or else it burns and loses the flavour

 

  • Once you find colour turns to golden brown and dal stops sticking to the vessel you will notice ghee oozing or separation.
  • Now add sugar syrup and cardamom powder along with saffron dissolved in water.
  • Under low flame, let it cook until you find all water gets absorbed.
  • On other hand with little ghee, fry cashew and raisins and garnish this above Dal ka seera

Atte ka sheera

Atte ka sheera

 

Atte ka sheera is one of the easiest halwa recipes you can cook in your home at no time. This is a well-known Gujrathi sweet which is equipped with nutrition as atta halwa is made from whole wheat and ghee.


Ingredients:

 

Atte ka sheeraWhole wheat flour – 1 cup

Sugar – 3/4 cup

Ghee – ½ cup (melted).

Cardamom powder – 1 tsp.

Chopped pista and almonds – 2 tsp.

Water – ¾ cup

 

Method:

 

  • Heat ghee on a non-stick pan and roast flour on low fire until it turns colour
  • On the other hand make sugar syrup by adding ¾ cup sugar with ¾ cup water (1:1) ratio.
  • When the sugar dissolves and flour turns its colour mix together and cook on low flame until water evaporates and ghee oozes out.
  • When Atte ka sheera is done, you can smell aroma. Garnish with chopped pista and almonds.

 

Tip: Take care between the time gap of water evaporation and ghee ozzing, during this time you will notice wheat is well cooked if not you may lose the flavour.
