Mango Lassi
Mango Lassi is a delicious and refreshing summer special drink. It is a combination of yogurt and milk. Mango lassi recipe is a popular north Indian summer drink, in local people calls it as Aam lassi.

May be because of the flavor or texture, many people are fond of mangos. April and may are the months where we find many variants of mangoes in local markets of India. Many people think mangoes produce heat in our body so not to eat more, but in our case sweetness of mangoes are blended with coolness of Yogurt.

You may also like to check other drinks and squashes – lemon banana lassi, apple strawberry milkshake, blueberry cherry juice and ripe mango juice.

Ingredients:

Curd/ yogurt – 1 cup (plain)

Mango pulp – 1 cup

Sugar/ honey – 4 tsp. (sweetening agent)

Milk – ½ cup

Cardamom – A pinch (optional)

Water – Required

Ice cubes – Required



Prepare Mango Lassi:

 

  • Blend mango pieces, curd/ yogurt, milk and honey for about 2 minutes

 

Tip: Adjust honey quantity based on sweetness of fruit and yogurt.

 

 

  • Add water based on required consistency.
  • Add ice cubes and pour mango lassi in a tall glass.
  • Garnish with cardamom powder
