Ingredients
Ingredients for Sarson Ka Saag:
  • Mustard leaves sarson – 1 bunch
  • Spinach – 1 bunch
  • Maize flour – 1 tbsp.
  • Green chilies – 3 no.
  • Ginger grated – ½ tbsp.
  • Garlic grated – ½ tbsp.
  • Onion – 1 no.
  • Garam masala – ½ tbsp.
  • Paneer – 1 tbsp.
  • Ghee – 2 tbsp.
  • Lemon Juice – ½ tbsp.
  • Oil – 1 tbsp.
  • Salt - Required
Instructions
How to Make Sarson Ka Saag Recipe:
  1. Chop mustard leaves and spinach, wash and drain
  2. Put oil in a pressure cooker, add green leaves and green chilies.
  3. Add grated ginger, garlic, a little salt and 1 cup water.
  4. Cook until it’s done. (For about 2 whistles).
  5. Mash well.
  6. On the other hand heat ghee on a pan and fry onions until they turn golden brown.
  7. Add other ingredients including paneer and green mash.
  8. Cook until oil gets separated and paneer turns golden brown.
  9. Sarson ka saag is ready. Serve hot with Tandoori Roti or Makki Ki Roti.
