Soak Channa for overnight or for at least 5 hours, clean and boil them till they turn soft, keep aside.

Take few chana dal and mash them separately.

Heat oil in a pan and add jeera and cumin seeds.

Add sliced onions, green chillies, ginger garlic paste and saute for a while.

Continue adding bay leaves, cinnamon stick, cloves, sliced tomatoes and mashed channa.

Sprinkle red chilli powder, garam masala powder, turmeric powder, salt, coriander powder, pepper powder, boiled channa and required water.

Mix all ingredients and cook for a while till you get a thick gravy.

At last, add little sugar and few drops of lemon extract.
