Onion Fried Rice or Spicy Onion Rice is one of the simple yet delicious recipes which can be made with fewer ingredients.

Ingredients
Measurement - 1 cup = 200 ml.
  • Onions – 1 ½ cups.
  • Green chilies – 4-5 no.
  • Cooked Rice – 1 large bowl
  • Sprouted Green peas – 1 cup
  • Mustard seeds – ¼ tbsp.
  • Cumin seeds – ½ tbsp.
  • Garlic – 1 tbsp. finely chopped
  • Turmeric powder – ¼ tbsp.
  • Salt – 1 ¼ tbsp. as per your taste
  • Lemon extract – ½ piece.
  • Coriander leaves – 2 tbsp.
  • Oil – 2 spoons
Instructions
  1. Heat oil in the pan, cumin seeds, garlic pieces and mustard seeds.
  2. Add onions, green chilies and sprouted fresh beans.
  3. Add ¼ tbsp. Salt and sauté till onions turn its color to light golden brown.
  4. Sprinkle ¼ tbsp. Turmeric powder and mix well.
  5. Add 1 tbsp. salt to rice and loose rice with hands.
  6. Put this rice to onion mix and mix well.
  7. Add lemon extract before removing from heat.
  8. Mix well and serve hot by garnishing with coriander leaves.
