Add ¼ tbsp. salt in lemon juice and keep aside.

Now let’s prepare marinating mixture, add ginger garlic paste, 1 tbsp. coriander powder, ½ tbsp. turmeric powder, 1 tbsp. black pepper powder, cumin seed powder and lemon juice, keep aside.

In another bowl, add cleaned chicken, ½ tbsp. salt, above marinating mixture.

Mix all ingredients and marinate for half an hour to an hour.

Heat oil in a pan and add cinnamon sticks, cloves, green cardamom, green chillies, finely sliced garlic cloves and sauté for a while.

Add chillies thin onion slices, remaining turmeric powder, salt and curry leaves.

Sprinkle red chillies powder, coriander powder, black pepper powder, sauté for a while.

Add marinated chicken, chicken masala powder and cook for 10-15 minutes with lid covered.

Once chicken is cooked, add soya sauce and coriander leaves, mix well.
