Put green chilies, coriander leaves, mint leaves, garlic cloves and onions in a mixer grinder.

Grind to soft paste by adding little water. Keep aside.

Heat ghee in a pan and add cloves, star anise, bay leaves, cinnamon sticks, green cardamoms, green chilies, onions and carrots.

Saute for a while and add cashew, coriander paste, salt and sprinkle turmeric powder.

Cook for 2 minutes at low flame and add pre-cooked rice and mix well.

Once rice and coriander paste is mixed well sprinkle coriander powder (optional).
