Break eggs in a bowl and beat them to get froth either with a fork or with a blender.
-
Now let’s add spice powders. Add salt, pepper powder, turmeric powder, red chilli powder and garam masala powder (optional).
-
Add finely sliced onions, coriander leaves, green chillies and tomatoes (optional). Keep aside.
-
In our recipe, I have not added tomatoes or other veggies as they take large portion which lowers egg binding capacity.
-
Heat ghee on a pan and toast bread slices over it till they turn golden brown and crispy texture.
-
If you do not like to roast in ghee you can even roast in a toaster machine.
-
Spread little oil over a pan and pour egg mix and spread.
-
Put bread slice and flip to another side so that it absorbs egg mix. Similarly, put another slice of bread.
-
Once you find base is cooked, flip the omelette over bread and flip to another side to cook.
-
If you feel it hard to flip both slices of bread, you can slit them and flip.
-
When both sides are cooked, serve bread omelette hot directly or with tomato ketchup.
