In a pan put 2-3 tbsp. oil and fry ginger garlic paste. Add chicken and cook for 10 minutes and transfer to another bowl.

Add a little more oil and a spoon of ghee in the same pan and fry cumin seeds and onions.

Put tomatoes and cook for a while, once they turn soft, sprinkle red chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, jeera powder and salt.

Mix all spices and add chicken pieces, close the lid and cook for 5 minutes till it absorbs flavours of spices.

Add curd and cook for two more minutes with lid covered. Again add water and cook for 2 more minutes until chicken turns soft.

Sprinkle garam masala powder, black pepper and kasuri methi. Mix.

Add fresh cream and mix till the texture of the recipe changes.
