In a pan add oil and once it heats up add cumin seeds, mustard seeds and moong dal.

Once mustard seeds splutter add sliced onion pieces and green chillies and sauté them till they turn their colour to translucent.

Choose tender drumsticks and cut them into small pieces of your desired size.

Add them into onions and add little salt and turmeric powder, mix well.

Let drumsticks get cooked on low temperature with lid covered for 5 minutes.

Add tomatoes and again cook for 5 minutes with lid covered.

Once tomatoes turn soft add red chilli powder, water and cook further till drum sticks turn soft.

Once you get thick gravy, add little garam masala powder and mix well.

Add little coriander leaves and mix.

Serve Munakkada tomato kura or Drumstick tomato curry hot accompanied with rice or roti.
