Soak flattened rice in water and remove extra water either by pressing gently or putting it in a skillet.

Heat oil on a pan, put peanuts, moong dal, chana dal, mustard seeds and cumin seeds, sauté for a while.

Add onions, green chillies, curry leaves, turmeric powder and salt. Mix well.

Once water is drained from poha, put them in the above mix and stir to mix all ingredients.

Cook for a minute and squeeze a half piece of lemon and mix again.

Garnish Poha upma or atukulla upma with coriander leaves and serve hot.
