In pan heat oil, add ginger pieces, mustard seeds, cumin seeds and soaked chana dal. Saute for a while.

Add onions, green chillies, curry leaves, asafetida and mix well.

Continue adding finely sliced veggies (beans and carrot) and green peas.

Sprinkle salt, mix all ingredients and cover the lid and cook veggies till they are slightly cooked.

Pour 1 ½ cup water to veggies and cook further till the water turns boiling.

Add oats, stir continuously so that oats are mixed well and there are no lumps.

Usually, oats get cooked fast so once they are done garnish with coriander leaves.
