As said above when it comes to snacks many of us like to have chutney recipe but when it comes to health point of view, Green All Purpose Chutney stands high as this not only fulfills your requirement of chutney but also detoxify your body.

In order to increase this recipe shelf life, my friend suggested me to put this recipe in ice cube molds and freeze it, when there is a requirement you can de-freeze and use it. But however busy we are a recipe made from fresh coriander leaves can never beat other options.

Ingredients

Ingredients for Green Chutney:

  • Green chilies – 15 no.
  • Jaggery – ½ tsp.
  • Asafoetida – A pinch
  • Coriander – ½ cup
  • Garlic piece – 1
  • Lemon – ½
  • Potato Wafers crushed or 1 tsp. sev
  • Oil – 1 tsp.
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

How to Make Green Chutney Recipe:

  1. Put green chilies, jaggery, coriander, garlic piece, sev and salt in a small mixer.
  2. Heat oil and add asafoetida and put it in the mixer along with other ingredients.
  3. Run the mixer and make the paste still its smooth.

Tip: For long shelf life, avoid adding water or use little

  1. Store in a clean and dry container. Preferably in a glass container.
