Muskmelon Juice Recipe

Musk melon is one of the seasonal fruit available during the summer season. Doctors prescribe to eat seasonal fruits as they provide essential nutritional values.

While making Kharbuja juice we can even add a small quantity of milk to give additional flavor but I feel milk is not that necessary for this recipe as this tastes great natural.

When we slice this fruit if it’s white then it needs to ripen and if it’s orange in colour then it’s ripe. One should take care that fruit doesn’t have damages or become soft as it doesn’t taste good.

Tips to make perfect Muskmelon Juice Recipe:

  • Usually, sweet fruit tastes good so always choose the right fruit (not too hard or fully ripen).
  • By checking the color of the skin one can predict the right time to slice. If it’s greenish and hard then that indicates it should ripe.
  • Based on the sweetness of the fruit we need to adjust sugar.
  • As muskmelon gives thick and creamy juice, based on your taste adjust water quantity.
  • Either we can add ice cubes or chilled water to give it a refreshing experience to kharbuja juice during hot summer.
  • Do not throw away seeds of this fruit. Sundry seeds and remove the layer to use in making semiya or other desserts.
  • Apart from adding water to dilute we can even add milk and consume it fresh but the texture will be thick.

Ingredients

  • Muskmelon – 1 bowl
  • Sugar – 2 tbsp.
  • Chilled Water – 500 ml.

Instructions

  1. Ripe melon gives good taste to our recipe, peel and removes the skin of Muskmelon.
  2. Cut into small pieces and put them in a mixer juicer and add sugar based on the sweetness of the fruit.
  3. Blend for a minute or two till you get a thick and mushy paste.
  4. As it becomes hard to drink thick paste, add chilled water to dilute the kharbuja juice.
  5. Blend for a second and serve the Muskmelon juice recipe fresh and chilled.

How to make Muskmelon Juice Recipe:

1.  Cut ripe melon into small pieces and put them in a mixer grinder and add 2 tbsp. sugar.

Slice melon into small slices and put sugar.

2.  Blend for a minute so that melon gets crushed and get a mushy paste.

Blend for  a minute.

3.  Add chilled water to dilute concentration and blend further to get soft and thick kharbuja juice.
